Olympus is the highest Greek Mountain at 2.919 meters . It is located about 100 km away from Thessaloniki (45-60min).
The landscape is of imposing and unparalleled natural beauty. Deep canyons, steep rocky breathtaking precipices, forested slopes and alpine flora, numerous small streams and springs, colorful fields full of wild flowers is what the landscape of the divine mountain is made from.
The flora of the mountain consists of 1700 different species. The fauna of the National Park is also significant, consisting of numerous species of mammals and predating birds. The most rarely encountered are the members of an endangered species of wild mountain goats.
