The national park Vikos - Aoos.

The national park Vikos - Aoos is the biggest in Greece and located at the northwestern side of Pindos mountain.The region is protected and the reason is infrequent flora and fauna.
The area includes the Vikos Canyon 10km length. In the down part of gorge flows a torrent, which near the exit becomes permanent river Boidomatis.
The Canyon gives the opportunity to visitors for alternative -extreme sports and tours in the nature. In the region exist traditional houses & hotels for stay.

Beautiful photos! See some nice photos too on Marmara Seliani Vardousia a village on the mountains of central Greece.
